Happy Anniversary to us-we celebrated our 19th anniversary by spending the day driving to Utah. But at least we got to spend this romantic moment somewhere in eastern Washington!
The drive went well, until our air conditioner went out in Boise. It is a very long way from Boise to SLC when it's 98 degrees with no air! Just roll down all the windows and breath in that sweet farm air! Love those cows.
After hearing "are we there yet" 1000 times, I gave Allie my camera to keep her busy. Why is it that at home the kids can watch t.v. for hours, but on a road trip it only occupies them for about 30 minutes? She took some great pictures:
Hmmm, what else could go wrong? The officer didn't seem to care that our air conditioner was broken and we needed to go faster to cool us off.
Finally made it to Utah, and got some big hugs from Grandpa!

We had lots of fun with the grandparents and all the cousins! We went up American Fork canyon for a fun picnic and a break from the heat.
We were able to go the Timpanogas Temple and do some baptisms with the girls.
We drank lots and lots of Hart's drinks and Icee's- it was SOOO hot there! We were glad to come home to our mild summer weather.
