Saturday night Ashley and Savannah turned their bathroom into a Bunny Delivery Room. They have been taking really good care of the mama bunny and watching her closely. Saturday they knew it was the day, so they brought her inside where it was warm and made her a nice cozy birthing box in the shower. (smells great in there) At 1:30 a.m. Ashley woke me up and told me the good news. So far all the babies are doing great. We had a not so good experience this summer with baby bunnies, they didn't make it. So the kids are praying for these little guys!
Day one- they look like little mice
They weigh them every day on my food scale to make sure they are gaining weight.
Day four- getting more fur and looking a little cuter!
Let your kids know now- they can have a baby bunny sometime next month! Come on, don't deny them a fun childhood. You could consider it food storage. Just kidding!!
